Alpha is a great way to discover the Christian faith in a low-profile and fun way. It is a series of conversations about things we all question in life: why do bad things happen to good people? What’s the purpose of life? What’s next?
If you’re looking for a judgment-free space to ask hard questions and share your own opinion, there’s a place for you.
Every Alpha session consists of three elements:
Alpha’s content explores the big questions we all aks, and guests from any background can unpack the basics of Christian faith. Bring your questions, you’ll find you’re not alone.
Those who attend Alpha share that their small group discussions are hands-down the best part of the experience. No questions are off limits and there’s nothing you can’t say (really)
- Connection over lunch
Connecting with others is what we were made for. During lunch, we will have time to connect and build friendships, eliminating awkwardness and creating space for important conversations.
You’re more than welcome to join us! We organise Alpha based on interest, so let us know if you are considering it.
We have picked the Sunday morning to make it easy for everyone to fit in their calendars. People with (small) children are especially welcome – we will organise a fun morning for them (and the children in our own group).
We (the organisers) are a few befriended families that moved to Gouda a few years back. We always like meeting new people that are also interested in talking about life and faith.
If you prefer speaking in Dutch, that is also possible – at least one small group will do so.
